DMCA Policy

GOT.MY.ID complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA"). We will respond promptly to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the DMCA and other applicable laws.

Reporting Copyright Infringement

If you believe that your copyrighted work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please provide our Copyright Agent with the following information:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed
  3. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing
  4. Your contact information including address, telephone number, and email
  5. A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material is not authorized
  6. A statement that the information in the notification is accurate

We may forward any complete DMCA notices to the affected user.

Counter-Notification

If you believe your content was wrongly removed, you may submit a counter-notification containing:

  • Your physical or electronic signature
  • Identification of the removed material
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you believe the material was removed by mistake
  • Your name, address, and consent to local court jurisdiction

Knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing may subject you to liability.

Repeat Infringers

In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable laws, we will terminate the accounts of users who are repeat infringers of intellectual property rights.
